Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electronic components and their ratings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate production schedules and prioritize work to meet customer and business requirements with Planning.
  • Investigate and resolve production delays, equipment issues, and process disruptions.
  • Offer technical expertise to develop and coach employees to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Conduct shift meetings and communicate production targets, safety updates, and operational priorities.
  • Train new employees and ensure compliance with established work procedures.
  • Inform the Manager of attendance, performance, and employee relations issues in accordance with company policies.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct safety inspections and incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Encourage employee participation in safety programs and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
  • Monitor quality metrics and collaborate with quality teams to address non-conformances.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve process consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.

Overview:

The Supervisor, 2 nd shift Production, is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations for 2 nd shift. The role ensures that production goals, quality standards, safety requirements and production targets are achieved while leading and developing the 2 nd shift teams.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Physical Demands
