Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a Supervisor in Vacaville to support management in growing the company brand and delivering best‑in‑class service. You will work with service, merchandising, and front‑end teams to drive sales, train staff, and uphold KPIs while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.

The role requires leadership in a retail setting, strong customer service, and the ability to coach peers, with a schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience including at least 1 year in a supervisory retail role.
• Strong interpersonal and team‑oriented mindset.
• Experience resolving customer issues and coaching peers.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

About the role

As a Supervisor, you support the management team in growing our company brand. You will support store operations, help build a sales and service culture, and deliver best‑in‑class service for customers. You will work as part of the service, merchandising, and front‑end operations teams, drive sales and deliver key performance metrics (KPMs), and lead by example to maintain a welcoming, knowledgeable store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Supervise team members and support their training, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and merchandising standards across the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a retail setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑player mindset.
• Experience resolving customer issues and coaching peers.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend, and stand for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various weather conditions during the workday.

Compensation

Hourly wages range from $20.14 to $24.17. Compensation may vary by location, knowledge, skills, and experience, and will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
