  • Drive safety, quality, and on-time production as daily priorities.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Customer Service, Scheduling, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and Maintenance.
  • Provide tools and training to enable team members to meet performance goals.

Job DescriptionSummary:Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor position is a key position at Boyd. The person in this role needs to have high ownership and a strong drive to coordinate with all teams at Boyd to ensure continued success. Promoting safety, quality, and world class manufacturing needs to be top priorities. They need to be the voice of production for the organization and be a driver of continuous improvement. Additionally, this person needs to be able to prioritize both for themselves and their team, the things that are most important for individual and corporate success. This also means they will need to be levelheaded, yet resolute, as unforeseen things occur and be able to be flexible and innovative with solutions.LeadershipIdentify, develop, and mentor their team to be able to take on progressively more responsibility and be more effective in the jobs they are tasked to doAddress performance issues swiftly and with a clear expectation of next steps if performance issues are not resolved.
