What You Will Do
- Spend 70% of your time on the production floor, providing direct support and leadership to your team, anticipating and addressing issues before they become obstacles.
- Coordinate with team members, other shift managers, and company leadership to ensure alignment on goals, smooth operations, and share updates.
- Champion safety, efficiency, quality, and adherence to processes. Lead by example and hold your team to high standards.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive projects that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maximize team performance. Meet production goals and ensure customer quality expectations are exceeded.
- Balance urgent production needs with planning activities such as inventory exception review and resolution, timekeeping, and team member and department effectiveness reviews.
- Actively support operators and team members, providing coaching, training, and clear direction. Train, mentor, and communicate with team members, empowering them to succeed and grow.
- Utilize production and logistics data to anticipate needs, prioritize work, and manage staffing.
- Lead projects, identify improvements, and drive efficiency and accountability across your shift.

- Mechanical and numerical reasoning skills for rapid problem solving.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- ISO knowledge and experience helpful.
- Strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills.
