Job summary

The County of Imperial is seeking a Supervising Therapist to provide licensed supervision for unlicensed registered interns under the BBS guidelines. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate, oversee and participate in community counseling and social service programs.

You will train staff, supervise interns, conduct group and individual therapy, assess patients, and prepare required documentation while managing a high-level client caseload with independence.

Qualifications

• Must have a qualifying Master’s Degree to meet licensure requirements for LCSW/LMFT/LPCC.
• Two years' post-licensure experience providing counseling in a mental health setting.
• Must be licensed by the State of California and maintain active license (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC).
• Valid California Driver’s License.
