Job summary

County of Imperial is seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist – Shift Lead to supervise the Mental Health Triage Unit during the assigned shift. The role provides interventions to clients, directs staff, and ensures operations align with County standards of care.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with four years of clinical mental health casework experience, with substitutions allowed for graduate education or post-associate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience performing case work, therapy or supportive services in a clinical mental health setting.
• Up to two years of graduate professional education may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis; up to two years of post-associate arts clinical experience may substitute for the required educational experience.
• Must be able to handle crises situations effectively and provide direction to staff on the assigned shift to ensure safety.
• Valid California driver’s license.
