Job summary

The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Supervising Special Investigator I (Non-Peace Officer) to oversee investigations and staff in the Enforcement Branch. This role reports to the Supervising Special Investigator II and requires coordinating complex fraud investigations while maintaining statutory duties.

This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid telework, travel as needed within California, and a salary of $7,716.00–$10,074.00 per month, plus a comprehensive

• Oversee activities of the Investigation Division’s Regional Office and ensure workflow alignment.
