Qualifications

• Experience in investigation techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of evidence rules and court procedures.
• Laws of arrest, search and seizure; service of legal process; citizen rights.

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance investigations related to regulatory compliance and/or criminal investigations.
• Exercise limited peace officer powers after completion of required training.
• Investigate under the Enforcement Branch to enforce California and Federal laws in insurance transactions.
• Collaborate with Investigations Division and Los Angeles Regional Office as needed.
