The Employment Development Department (EDD) seeks a Supervising Program Technician II in Fresno County. This permanent, full-time role involves planning, organizing and directing the work of a large unit of Program Technician staff and clerical teams to assist customers who contact Field Offices.
Salary ranges from $4,375 to $5,482 monthly. New state candidates start at the minimum of the classification or alternate range.

Under the general direction of a Disability Insurance Program Manager II, the Supervising Program Technician II is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the work of a large unit of Program Technician (PT), PT II, and clerical/office support staff whose duties include providing general assistance to customers who contact the Field Offices for assistance. Evaluates staff performance by providing timely feedback. Acts as a coach, mentor and/or role model in support of the Department and Branch’s vision, mission, values, and goals.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
