Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Supervising Lab Technologist for the Department of Pathology at the New Jersey Medical School. The Laboratory Supervisor position supervises and monitors daily technical operations in the CLIA-certified CAP-accredited cytogenetic laboratory. The supervisor will ensure reliable documentation of sample processing, storage, and shipment by technologists, generate daily schedules for the techs, review instrument quality control and temperature logs, assist with troubleshooting, oversee maintenance contracts, perform quarterly safety checks, and ensure staff are current on required training. The Laboratory Supervisor will assist the Laboratory Director in developing lab competencies, performing annual competency observations, providing feedback on evaluations, and training new employees.

Salary details include Minimum Salary, Mid Range Salary, and Maximum Salary as listed: 79611.000; 96814.000; 114014.000 respectively. The final salary offer may depend on qualifications, experience, and funding availability.
