Job summary

North Homes Children & Family Services in Bemidji, MN is seeking dedicated Visitation Monitors to join our SVSE Monitor Team. You will supervise visits and exchanges between parents and children, ensure safety, and document observations to support positive outcomes for families.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with opportunities available across full-time, part-time, and casual/as-needed schedules. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to pass a DHS

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include being 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor’s/associate’s degree preferred in human services or related field.
• Experience working with children and/or families and DHS background check eligibility are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor visits and exchanges between the visiting parent(s) and child(ren).
• Ensure safety and well-being of child(ren) at all times.
• Report suspected child abuse/neglect as required.
• Maintain unbiased documentation of visits and program compliance.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
