Job summary

Watson Refrigeration in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Service Technician to support local grocery chains. You will work on supermarket rack systems, walk-ins, and display cases to keep products cold and operations moving.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues, perform preventive maintenance, and read wiring diagrams. You will communicate with store managers and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing supermarket refrigeration equipment, including rack systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of refrigeration operation.

If you know your way around a supermarket rack system and enjoy troubleshooting a problem until you get it right, let's talk.

Watson Refrigeration is looking for an experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Service Technician to support customers in the Raleigh area. You'll work on the systems that keep grocery stores running, food at temperature, and customers' businesses moving.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair supermarket refrigeration equipment, including parallel rack systems, refrigerated cases, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues and make effective repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and catch problems before they become emergency calls.
• Troubleshoot compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, defrost systems, and refrigeration controls.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics to identify problems and determine the next steps.
• Communicate clearly with store managers about equipment issues, repairs, and follow-up needs.
• Complete accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and refrigerant handling.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable refrigerant handling requirements.
