Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to support store repairs and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for operating equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety and environmental policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and navigate ladders as needed.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
