Job Summary:

This role is the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes. You will be commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial environment. You will utilize your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. This position offers the opportunity to work with internal and external partners, from new facility setups to retrofits of existing facilities. Work Arrangement: This position is remote with work performed in Pine Brook, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
• Use advanced software, tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Show team effort and dedication by working overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred. Technical training is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphones, tablets).
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• EPA Certification.

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely with seat belt.
• Ability to wear safety gear such as helmets, goggles, fall protection, and boots.
• Physical ability to twist, squat, reach, stand, lift, and maneuver in confined spaces and at heights.
• Regularly lift up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 40 lbs., and occasionally over 40 lbs.
• Work in variable weather conditions and environments with mechanical and electrical hazards.
