Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart facilities, specifically focusing on Refrigeration HVAC equipment. You will utilize commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Currently offering a $2000 sign-on bonus (select locations)
• Compensation packages are based on skills, experience, and other factors.
• Eligible for bonus incentives.
