Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment, utilizing your technical skills and tools to complete jobs efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate tools and skills
• Use work order systems to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Bonuses based on performance and qualifications
