Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role requires 2 years of commercial HVAC maintenance and EPA refrigerant handling certification, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital and power tools to complete jobs.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as required.
