Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a traveling Superintendent in Dallas to coordinate on-site work across Ryan employees, subcontractors, and project management. You will enforce safety programs, monitor schedule, and help manage budgets while training personnel and directing trades.

Candidates should have post-high-school construction education, be able to read blueprints, and demonstrate strong team leadership and calmness under pressure.

Qualifications

• Post high school education or equivalent in construction field.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Documentation / file management.
• Must read and comprehend blueprints and plans and give proper direction to project personnel.
• Must remain calm during stressful situations and seek help when task exceeds skills.
• Meeting management skills.
• Team player with team-building skills.
• Moderate support from Field Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Develop a site-specific safety program and administer project safety per Ryan policies.
• Manage subcontractors in performance of their work per contract.
• Develop and track CPM schedule and monitor progress.
• Assist in development/review of the overall construction budget and manage within it.
• Assist with material procurement.
• Establish and monitor the Quality Control program for the project.
• Daily documentation and file/print management.
• Hold, prepare, and document required meetings.

## Superintendent - TravelingApply: Dallas: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R-102181**Job Description:**The Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite for completion on time and on budget. This position enforces safety programs while managing and training personnel; understands and controlling project budget.
