Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) seeks experienced Superintendents for a South Florida project portfolio. You will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and drive schedules for complex commercial programs.

The role emphasizes safety, on‑time delivery, and staying within budget, with opportunities to influence site performance and client relations across multiple high-profile developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and support field personnel to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality project execution
• Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, and resources to maintain project schedules and productivity goals
• Develop, update, and manage project schedules, including critical path planning and three-week lookahead schedules
• Monitor productivity rates, labor costs, and field performance metrics
• Lead site meetings and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Identify project risks, resolve conflicts, and proactively address schedule or budget impacts
• Coordinate self-perform work and subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, and communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Foster strong working relationships with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders

Our client, a nationally recognized commercial construction firm, is seeking experienced Superintendents to join their growing South Florida team. This position is ideal for construction leaders who have successfully managed large-scale commercial projects and excel at driving schedules, coordinating field operations, and leading high-performing project teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing complex commercial construction projects valued at $75M-$100M+ and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Required Experience

• Prior experience serving as a Superintendent, Field Supervisor, or similar field leadership role on large-scale commercial construction projects valued at $75M-$100M+
• Experience working on projects such as:
  • Hotels
  • Casinos
  • Airport terminals
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Other large-scale commercial construction projects
• Strong experience creating and managing project schedules using construction scheduling software
• Proven ability to coordinate self-perform work, subcontractors, and field operations
• Experience tracking labor productivity and preparing labor cost reports
• Demonstrated success leading construction teams, direct reports, and site meetings
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Primavera P6
• Journeyman certification
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
