Job summary

Prevail Recruiting is seeking a Tenant Improvement Superintendent for a premier Phoenix commercial construction firm to lead field operations on interior tenant improvement projects, from mobilization to closeout.

You will coordinate trades, materials, schedules, safety, and quality while partnering with the Project Manager, maintaining a tidy, safe jobsite, and delivering for the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Experience managing multiple trades, subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and active commercial jobsites.
• Familiarity with Phoenix metro subcontractors, permitting, inspections, and local project conditions.
• Strong communication, scheduling, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on field leader who prioritizes quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on tenant improvement projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, inspections, schedules, safety, quality, and site logistics.
• Keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule while resolving field issues.
• Partner with the Project Manager on daily execution, look-aheads, site coordination, and client communication.
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes to identify potential conflicts before they impact the project.
• Maintain a professional, organized jobsite and uphold high expectations for subcontractor performance.
• Report to the Director of Tenant Improvement.
