Ideal candidates bring 7+ years as a superintendent on commercial builds, strong leadership, and proficiency in Procore and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience with ground-up and/or renovation projects (education, municipal, or commercial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, scheduling, and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Manage day-to-day field operations including subcontractors, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience with ground-up and/or renovation projects (education, municipal, or commercial preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, scheduling, and sequencing
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics
• Familiarity with construction management or design-build delivery methods preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
