Job summary

Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a Full-Time Superintendent to manage the Sheridan, WY job site and oversee operations across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

The Superintendent will supervise Foremen and crews, ensure safety, quality, and on-time progress, and coordinate with the Project Manager. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and hands-on coordination with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction supervision and foreman duties.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate to on-site work.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Experience with quality and cost control on job sites.
• Proficiency in carpentry, concrete, and other trades.
• Strong math and analytical skills; ability to mentor others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan site requirements and order supplies.

Job description

Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Superintendent to join our team in Sheridan, WY.

The Superintendent is responsible for managing the entire construction job site. The Superintendent will oversee building operations at various residential, commercial, and/or industrial job site locations. This position works under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.

Responsibilities Include

• Plans the construction job site requirements. Orders required supplies/materials.
• Tracks job site production on a daily/weekly basis.
• Supervises, trains, guides, and directs job site Foreman and other crew workers.
• Provides excellent customer relations and works in a cooperative manner with the Owner and Subcontractors.
• Oversees quality control and job site productivity.
• Keeps paperwork organized, including reports, receipts, shipping tickets, etc.
• Works directly with the Foreman for job site updates and progress.
• May assist with performing carpentry tasks as needed.
• Performs housekeeping and keeps work area clean throughout the project and removes trash and debris.
• May assist with demolition duties of existing structures as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience required
• Previous foreman or supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of quality control, cost control, and jobsite safety
• Knowledge of applicable building codes
• Experience with stud layout and rough framing
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Proficiency in concrete, rough and finish carpentry, and other building trades
• Knowledge of OSHA construction rules and regulations
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Ability to teach and mentor others
• Strong communication skills
