Job summary

Cask Construction in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead residential projects from groundbreaking to homeowner handoff. You’ll keep job sites clean, organized, and on schedule while coordinating crews, trade partners, and inspections with clear, proactive communication.

You’ll review plans, enforce codes and safety standards, and maintain daily Buildertrend logs, photos, and updates to ensure a high-quality homeowner experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final completion
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards
• Maintain and enforce project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays
• Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and inspection requirements
• Conduct regular site walks to maintain quality control, safety, and cleanliness
• Coordinate inspections and ensure timely approvals at each phase
• Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field
• Communicate daily with Project Managers on progress, challenges, and updates
• Maintain Buildertrend documentation including daily logs, photos, and updates
• Manage punch lists and lead projects through final completion and homeowner handoff
• Deliver a positive homeowner experience through clear communication and responsiveness
• Proactively identify issues, solve problems early, and keep projects moving efficiently

What You’ll Do

As Superintendent, you’ll lead the day-to-day execution of residential construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

Quarterly Key Performance Indicators

You’ll be measured against clear, achievable KPIs aligned to project success and company growth:

• Achieve Release to Hang on “x” projects per quarter
• Achieve Certificate of Occupancy on “x” projects per quarter
• Close out “x” projects per quarter with minimal punch list items within timeframe
• Maintain high homeowner satisfaction scores across completed projects
