Job summary

Cask Construction, based in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a dedicated Superintendent to lead day-to-day residential construction, coordinating crews, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality homes on time.

You will oversee on-site activities, manage subcontractors, enforce codes and safety, conduct site walks, and keep the homeowner experience at the forefront through clear, proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final completion
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards
• Maintain and enforce project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays
• Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and inspection requirements
• Conduct regular site walks to maintain quality control, safety, and cleanliness
• Coordinate inspections and ensure timely approvals at each phase
• Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field
• Communicate daily with Project Managers on progress, challenges, and updates
• Maintain Buildertrend documentation including daily logs, photos, and updates
• Manage punch lists and lead projects through final completion and homeowner handoff
• Deliver a positive homeowner experience through clear communication and responsiveness
• Proactively identify issues, solve problems early, and keep projects moving efficiently

What You’ll Do

Quarterly Key Performance Indicators

You’ll be measured against clear, achievable KPIs aligned to project success and company growth:

• AchieveRelease to Hang on “x” projectsper quarter
• AchieveCertificate of Occupancy on “x” projectsper quarter
• Close out “x” projects per quarter with minimal punch list items within timeframe
• Maintain high homeowner satisfaction scores across completed projects
