Job summary

You will coordinate trades, enforce OSHA safety protocols, manage schedules with Procore and Outlook, supervise crews, read blueprints, and maintain open communication with project managers and clients to keep projects moving smoothly. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and 5+ years in a supervisor role in construction.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and on-site execution.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and trade scopes to meet schedule and quality.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and enforcing safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on residential sites, ensuring plans and blueprints are followed.

Join our construction team as a Residential Superintendent, where you will lead and oversee all aspects of various residential construction projects including custom home new builds and intricate residential remodels from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate trades, manage schedules, enforce safety protocols and ensure seamless communication among all project stakeholders. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a safe, efficient and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities on residential sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics and blueprints.
• Manage project-related communications through Microsoft Outlook to ensure documentation and timely coordination among team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Use of Microsoft Outlook Calendar to schedule meetings, track deadlines and maintain organization of project activities and priorities.
• Utilize Procore to view project documents and schedule, track progress, complete daily logs and adjust plans proactively.
• Monitor construction quality control processes to ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) and industry regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide on-site work.
• Collaborate and communicate with project managers to ensure that project schedule and budget are being met.
• Conduct daily site visits to all assigned projects.
• Lead problem-solving efforts promptly to address unforeseen challenges or delays during construction phases.

Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience in construction site management with a strong background in residential projects.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam and other industry-standard tools as well as Microsoft office tools.
• Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and execution.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings with precision.
• Familiarity with subcontractor contracts and purchase orders to coordinate all trade scopes of work to ensure projects were completed according to schedule, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Deep understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; ability to enforce safety measures consistently.
• Hands-on experience with construction site equipment and tools.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality control standards.
• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisor role within the construction sector.
• Equivalent education & experience will be considered.
• Travel to job site is required, therefore a valid driver's license is required.
