Job summary

LVI Associates in Chicago area is seeking a Superintendent I to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This role will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate subcontractors, and drive safety and quality on site.

The Superintendent I will serve as the primary field leader, ensuring projects progress on schedule, within budget, and to the required standards, while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Field Engineer on commercial projects.
• Background in multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, or large-scale commercial developments.
• Ability to lead subcontractor teams and maintain positive working relationships.
• Strong understanding of scheduling software and field operations.
• Experience reading construction documents and coordinating multiple trades.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
