Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting represents a leading Chicago commercial builder seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on high-profile projects. This role oversees safety, schedule, quality control, and coordination with owners, architects, subs, and project teams across interiors, ground-up, multifamily, and mixed-use developments in the Chicago market.

• Experience with ground-up, interiors/TI, multifamily, or mixed-use construction.
• Strong scheduling, organization, and communication skills.

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate all site activities.
• Oversee safety, quality control, and site logistics.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Drive projects through successful completion and turnover.

We are partnering with a leading commercial construction client in Chicago that is looking to add experienced Commercial Superintendents to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who takes pride in running a successful jobsite and wants to join an established organization with a strong project pipeline and reputation in the Chicago market.

We are open to Superintendents with experience in commercial interiors, ground-up construction, multifamily, mixed-use, and other commercial projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through project completion

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience
• Experience with ground-up, interiors/TI, multifamily, or mixed-use construction
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and sequencing
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and field teams
• Strong scheduling, organization, and communication skills
• Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
