Description

The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and field employees. Also supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems.

This is a traveling position. Travel is required.

Requirements

• Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
• Oversee and assure the installation of material, equipment, and manpower.
• Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance throughout the company.
• Request and coordinate material and equipment needs with on-site leadership and Project Manager.
• Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
• Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
• Attend and participate in GC meetings.
• Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
• Walk job constantly to follow-up with installers.
• Identify problems that need to be corrected.
• Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
• Maintain open and positive communication with field employees.
• Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.
• Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
• Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer related issues.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• EPA certificate preferred.

• Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
