The TRAVELING COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and timeliness. The Superintendent manages various teams and job sites, working in a manner consistent with quality and integrity standards and participating in all construction phases of the projects.

Traveling Superintendent Key Responsibilities Include:

1. Ensuring project success, including safety, schedule adherence, profitability, and quality.
2. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
3. Championing the timely and orderly completion of projects in the field.
4. Coordinating with the Project Manager on means and methods for successful project execution.
5. Aligning with the Project Manager and Project Engineer on procurement schedules, preventing delays, and documenting changes.
6. Managing costs using reports and preparing accurate projections.
7. Reviewing and executing all change orders.
8. Completing close-out requirements and punch lists promptly.
9. Providing feedback on subcontractor performance for future bidding and negotiations.

Job Requirements:

1. Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training/experience.
2. 7+ years of experience managing multi-family construction projects, with thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment, scheduling, productivity analysis, and cash flow procedures.
3. Ability to manage large, complex projects and multiple projects concurrently.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
