Job summary

LPX Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to provide planning, supervision and documentation for commercial building projects in Indianapolis. You will lead on-site safety, scheduling, workforce planning, and coordination with foremen and subcontractors to meet quality and schedule goals.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specs, monitoring budgets, approving field expenditures, and maintaining detailed project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects.
• 7+ years field experience in commercial construction.
• Heavy Civil and Commercial Building trades experience required.
• Strong ability to read drawings and schedules; familiarity with Procore or Vista is a plus.

Responsibilities

Purpose

The Superintendent is responsible for providing planning, supervision and documentation for commercial
building ground up construction and renovation. The Superintendent provides the necessary managerial
support and leadership to ensure safety and operational success. The Superintendent is responsible for
the safety of his/her Foremen and crews. This role is based in Indianapolis, IN. LPX Group headquarters is in Louisville, KY.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership for safety, scheduling, workforce planning, coordination, cost control, and
  adherence to company policies.


• Direct day-to-day operations of field teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards and timely
  execution.


• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, sequence, and monitor construction and procurement

• Strong ability to interpret construction documents, drawings, and schedules.


• Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore or Vista is a plus.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
