Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Superintendent I in Durham, NC to manage day-to-day execution of multifamily and mixed-use construction, bringing projects from ground to handover while learning the lifecycle from seasoned field leaders.

You’ll coordinate trades, monitor safety and schedule, and work with project teams to address risks, inspections, and documentation, ensuring work meets Vivmark's quality and on-time goals in a fast-paced on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily, commercial, or residential construction.
• Experience coordinating field activities on active construction sites.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day execution of multifamily and mixed-use construction projects.
• Manage assigned scopes of work and coordinate subcontractor activities.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance on site.
• Partner with Superintendents and Project Managers to identify project risks and develop solutions.
• Assist with inspections, RFIs, daily logs, and project documentation.
• Help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to Vivmark's quality standards.

The Role

At Vivmark Residential, we develop, build, and operate high-quality apartment communities across the country. As a Superintendent I, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing new communities to life while learning the full construction lifecycle from experienced field leaders.

What We’re Looking For

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pace field environment and work collaboratively with project teams and trade partners.
