Job summary

Advastar, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager for its Greenville, SC office to lead commercial interior framing and drywall projects from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires strong autonomy and a self-perform background in interior construction. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of PM experience in commercial construction, with CFMF and non-structural framing expertise; experience in a non-union subcontracted environment is valued.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Cold-formed metal framing (CFMF) and non-structural metal framing experience required.
• Self-perform specialty contractor background; not a general contractor.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a meaningful advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior framing and drywall projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Hold budgets and schedules across multiple active projects at once.
• Coordinate subcontractor crews, track manpower, and keep material flowing to the floor.
• Manage submittals and RFIs and run owner/GC meetings.
• Catch quality misses before the owner does, and keep subs positioned to succeed.
• Report to regional office leadership.

This is a self-perform specialty contractor — not a general contractor — and the role owns interior framing and drywall projects end to end.
