The ideal candidate is a decisive, safety‑driven field leader who can manage multiple crews and subcontractors while maintaining the highest standards of quality, schedule, and accountability.
Project Leadership & Execution — The Superintendent is the primary on‑site leader for all field operations. This includes planning and coordinating construction activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and Engineers, directing all phases of heavy civil work (earthwork, grading, utilities, concrete, paving), and maintaining project schedules to meet key milestones. The role manages manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to optimize productivity, assists with monthly cost‑to‑complete and revenue forecasts, and ensures materials are on‑site and on schedule to prevent delays.

This includes conducting daily briefings and weekly coordination meetings, and monitoring subcontractor performance against quality standards, timelines, and contractual obligations.
Safety & Compliance — Enforcing OSHA/MSHA regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks, and promptly documenting and addressing any safety incidents or concerns.
Quality Control & Documentation — Reviewing plans, specifications, shop drawings, and subcontract requirements to ensure accurate execution; monitoring workmanship and materials; and maintaining thorough daily logs documenting production, delays, conflicts, safety compliance, and stakeholder interactions.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures; role involves bending, lifting, driving, and extended time on active job sites.
