Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on major civil infrastructure projects in the Watertown, CT area. You will own on-site execution, guide crews, and coordinate earthwork, utilities, concrete, and paving with strong attention to schedule and safety.

We value hands-on leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors across active sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in heavy civil or site development.
• Strong experience with earthwork, grading, excavation, utilities, concrete, or paving.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Understanding of plans, specs, and sequencing.
• Ability to manage schedules and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to active project sites.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for heavy civil/site development projects.

An experienced Project Superintendent is sought for a well-established and growing heavy civil/site development contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on construction leader who takes ownership of projects, understands the details of civil construction, and knows how to build and manage high‑performing field teams.

Job Details

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in heavy civil, site development, utility, or commercial sitework construction
• Strong experience with earthwork, grading, excavation, underground utilities, concrete, and/or paving
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and sequencing
• Ability to effectively manage project schedules and deadlines
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of field operations
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel to active project sites as needed
