MPI in the Phoenix area is seeking a capable Superintendent with healthcare project experience to lead a team on diverse commercial, healthcare and mixed-use developments. The role focuses on day-to-day field management, site logistics, and collaboration with investors in a growing pipeline for 2026.

Ideal candidates have a construction management degree, 4+ years in superintendent roles, OSHA certification preferred, and a proven ability to manage large teams and complex, ground-up projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 4+ years as a construction superintendent for a general contractor.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team.
• Mid-rise experience with diverse projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction field activities to meet milestone dates and overall schedule.
• Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions to execute bids.
• Lead team with construction project planning and site logistics.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines.
• Utilize good time management to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Keep daily and weekly work logs.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Work directly with investors and maintain a professional, client-facing attitude.
• Ensure proper signage on site and safety requirements are met.

Description

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field is preferred
• 4+ years as a construction superintendent for a general contractor
• OSHA certification (preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team
• Mid-rise experience, preferably with diverse projects
• Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
• Working knowledge of field construction: systems, practices, safety and procedures. Also, knowledge of general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, methods, and sequencing
• Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients

Job Offer
