Description
- Lead daily on‑site supervision of all trades, subcontractors, and field activities
- Ensure project schedules are met while maintaining strict quality and safety standards
- Coordinate inspections, logistics, and site documentation
- Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and healthcare facility staff
- Enforce compliance with infection control (ICRA), safety protocols, and healthcare‑specific construction requirements
- Troubleshoot issues in real time to keep the project moving smoothly
- Drive a productive, respectful, and team‑oriented jobsite culture
Profile
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience, preferably in commercial or institutional construction
- Direct healthcare construction experience required (hospitals, medical office buildings, surgical suites, imaging departments, etc.)
- Strong understanding of ICRA, OSHPD/healthcare safety standards, interim life safety measures, and occupied‑facility construction
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and phases simultaneously
- Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling tools, etc.) is a plus
