Superintendent - General Contractor

Highland Consulting Group is a leading nationwide recruiting firm specializing in placing exceptional construction professionals within commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. We're collaborating with a prominent General Contractor firm to seek an adept Superintendent for the Weirton, WV area. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience managing medium to large-scale projects such as healthcare facilities, data centers, and schools, focusing on Foundations, Concrete, Carpentry, Interior work, and the entire building envelope. This is a full-time position primarily involving local projects with minimal travel.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure a secure work environment
2. Coordinate day-to-day construction tasks efficiently
3. Schedule and manage crews and subcontractors
4. Facilitate timely procurement of materials and equipment
5. Liaise with foremen to align on daily production plans
6. Oversee and maintain quality control standards
7. Provide comprehensive daily work reports
8. Offer technical expertise and guidance to resolve production issues, ensuring corrective actions are executed
9. Ensure project adherence to schedule, specifications, safety standards, and meet Project Manager expectations
10. Act as the primary interface with project owners
