Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is actively seeking a dependable full-time General Superintendent - Geotechnical to interface with project stakeholders, track projects, and develop staff. SUMMARY OF GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT - GEOTECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads the Superintendents within assigned region performing all types of geotechnical construction work
• Oversees/coordinates the hiring/movement schedules of operational employees and equipment within the region assigned
• Makes periodic site visits to ensure compliance with safety plans, work plans and project specifications and to monitor the performance of craft employees
• Trains and develops employees within current and future roles to meet both employee and company growth
• Monitors budgets throughout the assigned projects and communicates variances as they occur
• Works closely with Group Manager & President to develop strategic growth plans, yearly budgets, equipment purchase plans, employee capacity and monitors the results of these overall plans
• Participates in estimate development and bid reviews to ensure operational plan is appropriately incorporated into pricing proposals

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT - GEOTECHNICAL:

• 15+ years of geotechnical construction experience
• Experience managing several geotechnical construction projects, simultaneously or a large complex geotechnical project with multiple trades and numerous craft persons a must
• Additional experience with federal/state/DOT contracts, specifications, reports and records is required
• Experience with trade supervision, including performance assessments is required
• OSHA 30 hour certification is required
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
• Experience with hiring and assisting in training of union trades and supervision

SAFETY

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
