Job summary

gpac in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead on-site operations for custom residential construction and high-end renovations. The role focuses on managing day-to-day field activities, coordinating subs and deliveries, and ensuring craftsmanship and schedule adherence.

You will maintain quality, safety, and documentation, using Buildertrend, while communicating with homeowners, architects and trade partners to ensure a successful turnover.

Qualifications

SITE SUPERINTENDENT - CUSTOM RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Location: St. Louis, MO Area

Full-Time | Local Projects

A well-established and highly respected custom residential builder is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team immediately. This is an urgent opening with an opportunity to become part of a close-knit organization that places craftsmanship, integrity and quality above everything else.

This is NOT a production homebuilding position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing true custom homes and/or high-end residential renovations.

Project Profile

• Custom homes averaging approximately $750K
• Typically 6-10 active projects
• High-end renovations up to approximately $2.5M
• Projects located primarily within approximately one hour of the St. Louis area
• Strong emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day field operations for custom homes and renovations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of residential construction experience preferred
• Strong custom homebuilding experience highly preferred
• High-end renovation experience will be considered
• Candidates with approximately 3 years of the RIGHT custom/renovation experience may be considered
• Former construction company owners/operators encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and trades
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Hands-on "doer" mentality
