The role requires a Bachelor's in Process Engineering and 5–10 years mining experience, plus 5+ years in CI.

The Thompson Creek Mine is a primary, surface molybdenum mine and mill located approximately 48 kilometers southwest of the town of Challis in Idaho's Custer County.
In operations since 1983, the mine uses conventional open-pit mining methods with large electric-powered shovels that can each move up to 100,000 tons of waste rock and ore per day.
Thompson Creek Mine promotes a drug and alcohol-free workplace and has adopted a zero-tolerance policy with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.
We are looking for an Superintendent, Continuous Improvement to join our Thompson Creek team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Superintendent, Continuous Improvement will work with site personnel at all levels to improve business and operational processes that will ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitability, drive quality improvements, provide premier customer services (internal and external), and reduce operating costs, inventories, and lead times through the appropriate application of business improvement methodologies.
