Job summary

Jobot, a mid-sized, family-owned company in Illinois, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction from pre-construction through closeout. You will coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers and field teams to keep multiple projects on schedule, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the role, strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety, and subcontractor coordination; proficiency with Procore and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Ability to manage on-site construction activities from pre-construction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, safety protocols, and subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to work with project managers, architects, engineers, and field teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools and construction software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
