Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Superintendent to lead MEP coordination on Philadelphia construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, a mechanical engineering or construction management background, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is an on-site role with generous PTO and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP coordination, scheduling and oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction management preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with professionals.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise MEP trades on construction projects.
• Develop and maintain MEP schedules and ensure they are on track.
• Ensure all MEP installations meet codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of all MEP systems.
• Develop and implement quality control measures for MEP systems.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site.
• Manage and mentor junior MEP staff.

Job Details
