Job summary

Kimmel and Associates is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site commercial roofing projects across North Florida and the Panhandle. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while upholding safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage multiple roof installations, read construction drawings, and travel as needed. A valid driver’s license and OSHA awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing construction
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation methods
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel North Florida/Panhandle as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries
• Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
• Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction
• Communicate project progress with project managers, customers, and company leadership
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays
• Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and jobsite records
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations

About the Position

The Superintendent will lead all on-site construction activities for commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while maintaining the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage multiple roofing projects while maintaining high safety and production standards.
