Job summary

UTS BuildPros, a veteran-owned commercial general contractor based in Richardson, TX, seeks a dedicated field superintendent to lead projects from mobilization through closeout. The role oversees day-to-day field operations on projects valued from $500K to $5M+, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will own scheduling, coordinate subcontractors, generate daily reports, and drive issue resolution with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a superintendent on commercial projects.
• Experience with public or K-12 work is a plus.
• Strong scheduling skills and comfort with construction software.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on projects $500K–$5M+.
• Own site safety: daily inspections, toolbox talks, OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and lead weekly on-site coordination meetings.
• Complete daily reports and flag risks to the Project Manager.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Provide constructability input during preconstruction.

UTS BuildPros is a veteran-owned commercial general contractor based in Richardson, TX. We build and renovate commercial, multifamily, energy (solar O&M), and public projects across DFW and Texas. We’re growing fast and hiring our first dedicated field superintendent to lead projects from mobilization through closeout.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations on projects from $500K to $5M+, including scheduling, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
• Own site safety: daily inspections, toolbox talks, OSHA compliance, and incident reporting
• Hold subcontractors to scope and schedule, and run weekly on-site coordination meetings
• Complete daily reports, track progress, and flag schedule or cost risks to the Project Manager early
• Manage inspections, punch lists, and closeout with owners and inspectors
• Provide constructability and scheduling input during preconstruction

What You Bring

• 3+ years as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor, or 5+ years as an assistant superintendent or foreman ready to step up
• Public or K-12 experience is a plus, including bonded work and prevailing wage/certified payroll
• Strong scheduling skills (MS Project or P6) and comfort with construction software (JobTread, Procore, CompanyCam)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Based in DFW, with occasional travel nationwide

Pay and Benefits

• $75,000–$85,000base salary, depending on experience
