Job summary

LeoForce in Chicago, IL seeks a Mid Level Civil Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities across grading, utilities, roadways and site development.

You will coordinate field operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality while reading plans and collaborating with project managers. This role offers growth within a dynamic, safety‑focused team.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Field Supervisor in civil construction.
• Proven experience managing civil projects such as roadways, utilities, drainage, or infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and survey data.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to site safety.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
