Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead all stages of heavy civil projects with a hands-on, high-output approach. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety programs, and subcontractor performance while coordinating with clients and staff to ensure on-time delivery within scope and quality targets.

The role requires a strong background in construction project management, with leadership and communication skills to drive teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a superintendent role in construction.
• Proven PM, budgeting, scheduling, safety and subcontractor management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software; degree preferred in CM orCivil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management to deliver on time, within budget and scope.
• Supervise activities, ensure compliance with specs, safety standards and quality control.
• Develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage construction processes.

Are you a seasoned construction professional with a knack for effective project management and a keen eye for quality control? We are currently seeking a Permanent Superintendent with a strong background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from planning and development to execution and completion. You will be expected to manage a variety of tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management. This position requires a hands-on approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, including the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
2. Supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
3. Developing comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing all construction processes.
4. Preparing and managing project budgets, controlling project costs, and ensuring financial accountability.
5. Implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with local and national safety regulations.
6. Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration.
7. Resolving any issues or delays that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality of work.
8. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in construction project management, budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve project goals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they extend.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
