The Fordy Group is exclusively retained by a well‑established industrial contractor to recruit experienced Traveling Superintendents for projects across the United States.

This position is ideal for field leaders with backgrounds in industrial construction, rigging, mechanical installation, electrical, piping, or structural steel who are comfortable leading crews and coordinating complex multi‑trade work on active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations on industrial construction projects
• Supervise field crews and subcontractors across multiple trades
• Coordinate work involving mechanical, electrical, piping, and steel installation
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and site procedures
• Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and productivity
• Work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates

Requirements

• Experience as a Superintendent on industrial construction projects
• Background in rigging, mechanical, electrical, piping, or structural steel preferred
• Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple trades in the field
• Strong safety leadership and site management experience
• Willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments
• $70/hour (approximately $180K+ annually with overtime)
