Job summary

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent for our Edison Senior Apartments in Schenectady, NY. The role oversees the maintenance team and ensures the property is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of full-time maintenance experience, strong leadership, and hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances. We offer a generous benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the physical condition of the entire property.
• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, suppliers, and service professionals
• Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs
• Manage inventory and maintenance supplies
• Implement and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols

Superintendent - Responsibilities

The Superintendent supports the Maintenance Development Lead by overseeing the Maintenance Team and ensuring the property is maintained to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for preserving the overall physical condition and operational integrity of the property.
