Job summary

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent for our Property Apartments in City, NY. The role oversees the maintenance team and ensures a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and hands-on ability with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances.
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and continue professional development.
• Strong communication skills with confidence and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the physical condition of the property.

Superintendent – Responsibilities

The Superintendent supports the Maintenance Development Lead by overseeing the Maintenance Team and ensuring the property is maintained to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for preserving the overall physical condition and operational integrity of the property.

• Oversee and maintain the physical condition of the entire property
• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team
• Foster positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, suppliers, and service professionals
• Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs
• Manage inventory and maintenance supplies
• Implement and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols
