Overview

Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. (LSF) is a leading builder based in Central Pennsylvania with a history of delivering commercial construction services. The company seeks a Superintendent to oversee projects ranging from $500K to $25M+.

Position Details

Position: Superintendent – Full‑time, State College, PA. Salary: $75,000–$160,000 annually (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Create and manage comprehensive project schedules, including labor, materials, and equipment planning.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work quality, adherence to project requirements, and overall performance.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Lead project meetings, perform site inspections, and enforce quality control standards.
• Track and report project progress, identifying risks and maintaining schedule and budget goals using tools such as Procore.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawing reviews to keep projects moving forward.
• Provide leadership across multiple job sites, travelling throughout Central PA and surrounding areas as needed.
• Apply hands‑on experience in concrete work, form systems, carpentry, and general construction practices.
• Review project plans and logistics to ensure constructability, efficiency, and safety.
• Direct field teams to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $25M or more.
• Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and out of ditches.
• Strong working knowledge of construction processes, including sitework, concrete, formwork systems, cranes, MEP systems, carpentry, codes, inspections, and stormwater requirements.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and standard software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, etc.).
• Current OSHA 30 certification required.
